The book features an engaging essay by David Revere McFadden, behind-the-scenes images, and insightful text by the artist on the process of his work.Matthew Albanese, born 1983, Englewood, New Jersey, earned his BFA in Photography from Purchase College. His work has been exhibited at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art, Winkleman Gallery, Museum of Arts and Design, NY, Muba, Tourcoing France. He is represented by Bonni Benrubi Gallery in New York.David Revere McFadden is Chief Curator and Vice President for Programs and Collections at the Museum of Arts & Design in New York City.

He served as Curator of Decorative Arts and Assistant Director for Collections and Research at Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, Smithsonian Institution from 1978 to 1995. McFadden has organized more than 120 exhibitions on decorative arts, design, and craft, has published more than 100 catalogues, essays, articles, and reviews, and has received the Presidential Design Award 3 times.

McFadden featured Matthew Albaneses work in his 2011 exhibition and catalogue, Otherworldy.
